Weekly Update for April 17, 2023

God's Blessings on your week!

All Staff
Brittany has completed a Cleaning Check List. Please take a moment to review it for any additional thoughts or changes. It will be the goal to provide this list to the cleaning company selected next year to increase the clarity of our cleaning needs.

We received the following message from Brian Henken at Bay Area Life Center related to our 3rd quarter mission offerings of $163.67
A big "thank you" to the students at St. Paul for their generous donation to the Bay Area Life Center. Thank you, especially for your prayers.
We pray that providing for the physical needs of our guests will continue to give us opportunities to preach Christ crucified and risen to them as well.

At this time, the plan is to place prayer stones in the construction area on Wednesday, April 26 during our BASIC time. More details to come soon.

Faculty
We are planning to have the Brown County Library visit on May 17 during the following times. Each visit should last about 15 minutes and will take place in the fellowship hall.
  • 1:45 - K-4
  • 2:05 - 5-8
Consider using Project Elijah materials on May 3 to help promote ministerial education.

We will be moving from Forward Testing in the classrooms to makeup testing. Please reference this spreadsheet to see when we plan to pull students out and add any students you are not able to test.

We will be practicing our Tornado Awareness next week. Please review your safety documentation, especially your exit routes. This document also contains some helpful legal references.

The proposed FVL theme is "FOREVER FAITHFUL".

Instead of 9 monthly sub-themes, they are considering 4 quarterly themes.

2023-2024 Theme: Forever Faithful - Psalm 145:13b - The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.
  • 1st quarter: Forever faithful to his people
  • 2nd quarter: Forever faithful through his grace
  • 3rd quarter: Forever faithful through his Son
  • 4th quarter: Forever faithful to his promises
