God's Richest Blessings on your week!
We have been blessed with a continually growing enrollment throughout the summer, reaching 151 students on Friday. What a blessing to be able to share God's plan for salvation with our children and families.
Most curricular materials have now arrived. If you are missing anything, please make sure that Lisa knows so she can follow up with the vendor.
Our Parent Teacher Organization met on Monday to discuss items relevant to the school. The decision was made to move forward with the following fundraisers; Seroogy's Q1 (Aug - Oct), Kwik Trip Car Washes - Q2 (Oct - Dec), Cheesecake Fundraiser Q3 (Jan - Mar), Movie Theater Fundraiser Q4 (Mar - May). Happy Joes will be a supplemental fundraiser set for September 29th. They also discussed changing our spirit wear vendor and support for the Back to School Breakfast and Grandparents Day. Members of the PTO may be reaching out to faculty with questions as we get closer to these events.
The Board of Christian Education met on Tuesday. St. Paul's involvement with the hot lunch program was discussed and at this time, we will remain in the federal hot lunch program. Minor changes to the School Handbook, mostly grammatical in nature were accepted. The Faculty Handbook and Early Childhood Handbooks were also discussed and the decision was made to review them and vote on acceptance in September. Our recent site assessment was discussed the BOCE passed a motion to move forward with the installation of an all in one system at our main entrance. Finally, tuition for first year students was discussed and the BOCE decided to keep in place the practice of allowing all first year mission students not in the Wisconsin Parental Choice program to pay tuition at the St. Paul family rate.
I attended the Built on the Rock meeting on Thursday. Finalization of financing and the playground move were discussed. The very real possibility of the playground not being accessible for a small period of time after school starts was shared. While we will try to limit this, it is likely that a few days of indoor recess will be required in late August or early September.
I met with Noemi from Spark on Friday. We walked the building and discussed the cleaning of classrooms and common spaces. I carried forward concerns shared by faculty about cleaning various areas and potential changes to the cleaning schedule for common spaces. I have a follow up meeting scheduled with her on Monday, August 22 to discuss what we discussed and what would be possible with the hours they currently have under contract.
Upcoming Dates

August 24 First day of school!
